private Coaching in Buena Vista, CO
Private Coaching
One-on-one coaching built entirely around your goals.
Program Description
Private coaching at Fortitude Fitness is individualized, purpose-driven training built around you—your goals, your experience, and your long-term health.
For current members, private coaching is a powerful way to refine lifting technique, improve gymnastics skills, work through limitations, or pursue specific performance goals with focused attention. For individuals interested in CrossFit but not ready for—or comfortable in—a group class environment, private coaching offers a supportive, one-on-one entry point to build confidence, capacity, and consistency.
This is coaching, not just training. Every session is intentional, progressive, and grounded in sound movement and sustainable effort.

Private Coaching FAQs
Do I need to be a Fortitude Fitness member?
No. Private coaching is open to both members and non-members. For non-members, it is a great way to experience CrossFit style training in a quieter, more personalized setting.
Is private coaching a good fit for beginners?
Yes. It is often an excellent option for beginners who want to build confidence, learn foundational movements, and understand training principles before, or instead of, joining group classes.
How do I get started?
Start by booking a free intro. We will learn about your goals, training history, and preferences, then recommend a private coaching plan that fits you.
What should I bring to a session?
Comfortable athletic clothing, supportive training shoes, and a water bottle. If you are working toward a specific skill or lift, bring any notes or questions so we can make the most of your time.
What can I expect from a session?
Each session is built around your goals, current ability, and training history. Your coach assesses your movement, sets priorities, and creates a clear plan that builds skill and resilience without rushing. Expect individualized programming, direct real-time feedback, and accountability rooted in consistency rather than pressure.
How often should I do private coaching?
It depends on your goals. Some athletes train one on one weekly, while others schedule sessions periodically to sharpen specific skills or work through a challenge. We will help you find a rhythm that supports consistency and long-term progress.
Can private coaching replace group classes?
It can, but it does not have to. Some athletes use private coaching as their main training, while others pair it with group classes to refine technique or chase a specific goal. Your coach will help you choose the best approach.
What if I am returning from an injury or managing a limitation?
Private coaching is well suited to this. Our head coach and co-owner is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, so sessions can be tailored around your history and current needs, with movements modified to keep you progressing safely. If you need more focused rehab, ask about our in-house Physiotherapy.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
Our head coach and co-owner is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Walter's expertise sets the foundation for a professional, welcoming environment with effective programming, strong coaching, and a genuine focus on modifying movement for every individual. Thoughtful warm ups and cool downs help reduce injury risk and support recovery.
How much does private coaching cost?
Private coaching is available as single sessions, 5 session packages, and 10 session packages. Pricing depends on the package you choose. We recommend booking a free intro so we can talk through options and find the best fit for your goals.
Can I shower after my session?
Yes. We have two ADA accessible restrooms and showers, and we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels.
How do I manage my sessions and reservations?
Download the Wodify Member app to view your schedule and manage reservations.
