Salty Breeze Mocktail

Lauren Hafner, CF-L1 • July 7, 2026

Summer in a shaker? Yes, please.

Say hello to SALTY BREEZE , your new favorite mocktail. It's hydrating, refreshing, and packed with that “I’m-on-vacation” vibe—even if you’re just heading home from the gym. Whether you’re in a season of no booze, want something special post-WOD with friends, or just love a good salty-citrus sipper, this one’s for you.

Watch this mocktail come together and see how to make it here! 👈

What You’ll Need

  • 1/2 grapefruit (juiced)
  • 1/2 lime (juiced)
  • 6–8 mint leaves
  • 1/4–1/2 tsp Grapefruit LMNT
  • 3-4 oz ginger kombucha
  • Splash of soda water

How to Make It

  1. Juice your grapefruit and lime into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add mint leaves, Grapefruit LMNT, and a scoop of ice. Next, shake it like a polaroid picture!
  3. In a large rocks glass, drop in a big ice cube and pour in an excessive splash of ginger kombucha (3-4 ounces).
  4. Strain your citrusy, salty goodness into the glass.
  5. Top with a splash of soda water.
  6. Garnish with a mint sprig (Don't forget to smack it—it release the oils!) and a lime wedge.
  7. Sip, smile, repeat.

Why I Love It: Function + Flavor

As a big fan of rehydration and post WOD recovery, I'm constantly looking for ways to add electrolytes into my daily routine. Even if you're drinking plenty of water each day ( Healthy Habit Tip: aim to drink half your bodyweight in ounces of water every day), you can still be "dehydrated" in the sense that you're missing key electrolytes. You lose water and sodium when you sweat and both of those need to be replaced to prevent muscle cramps, headaches and energy dips.

That’s where LMNT comes in. Each packet contains:

  • 1000 mg sodium
  • 200 mg potassium
  • 60 mg magnesium
  • 0 g sugar

This formula was built for athletes, adventurers, and anyone looking to feel their best—with flavors that range from Citrus Salt to Mango Chili, and even cozy options like Chocolate Chai for your hot drinks.

Personally, I love adding a LMNT to mocktails like this one for a boost that tastes like a treat but leaves you feeling great. Take a look at all the LMNT products we have available next time you're at the gym & spice up your mocktails!

Here's to hydration that feels like a vacation.
