CrossFit demands a lot from your body: explosive power, heavy lifts, high-intensity conditioning. This class offers the counterbalance—intelligent movement to open tight hips, shoulders, and ankles, breathwork to build flexibility in your nervous system, and practices that help you recover smarter and move better.

What to expect:

  • Mobility-focused sequences targeting areas CrossFitters commonly need
  • Breathwork techniques to shift from sympathetic (fight-or-flight) to parasympathetic (rest-and-restore) states, improving recovery and sleep
  • Practices that build body awareness and control, translating to better movement patterns in the gym

This isn't about touching your toes or holding perfect poses—it's about becoming a more resilient, mobile, and sustainable athlete. No yoga experience necessary. Just show up as you are.

Your Instructor:

Tiffany came to Buena Vista in 2025, excited to leave North Texas and finally live near her beloved mountains. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (2011) and a yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience. As a fellow Fortitude member, she understands firsthand the demands of training and the elements of yoga practice that will most benefit athletes.

Tiffany’s approach to teaching yoga is grounded in movement science and the belief that yoga should fit your body, not the other way around. You don't need to be flexible or "good at yoga" to take part—she meets athletes where they are and gives them practical tools for better mobility, recovery, and nervous system resiliency. Her goal is simple: help you understand your body well enough to train smarter, recover faster, and live a full and active life.

Outside of the gym (and off the yoga mat), Tiffany enjoys hiking, packrafting, beach volleyball, knitting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • Certified Yoga Therapist (CYT) with with International Association of Yoga Therapists
  • 500-hr Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance
  • Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP)
